The short version: your data stays on your iPhone. Effective October 16, 2026.
Readings you import or enter are written to Apple Health on your iPhone. The app reads Health only to show, chart, export and report on your data, and to spot duplicates. Health data is never sent to us, never sold, and never used for advertising.
Medications, pill box set-ups, saved foods, pharmacies, import history and your settings are kept on your device (and in its widgets). Delete the app and they're gone. Nothing is uploaded to a server we run — there isn't one, and there's no account.
Some features ask public services for information, sending only what's needed for that request: food searches go to USDA FoodData Central and Open Food Facts; medication lookups go to the U.S. FDA and the NIH's DailyMed; background photos come from Unsplash; pharmacy search uses Apple Maps; and weather uses Apple Weather. None of these receive your health data.
If you allow it, your location is used to find nearby pharmacies and to record the day's weather. It is not stored by the app beyond the weather it records into your data.
The camera scans food and medication barcodes and labels. Images are read on your iPhone and aren't kept or sent anywhere.
Nothing leaves the app unless you choose to export or share it — a CSV file, a PDF report — and then it goes only where you send it.
Subscriptions and the Lifetime unlock are handled by Apple through the App Store. The app only learns whether Pro is active; it never sees your payment details.
The app isn't directed at children under 13 and doesn't knowingly collect information from them.
If this policy changes, the new version will appear here and on the App Store listing.
